Hawks, buzzards, and kites

Valentín, the kite, and friends. They are not self-sufficient anymore, but still keep that fierce look.

The buzzard (Buteo buteo), the black kite (Milvus migrans) the booted eagle, (Hieraetus pennatus) the kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) and the goshawkr are the representation in cañada Real of the diurnal birds of prey. They are all protected by law, and collisions with hanging cables, pouching, and poisoned baits are their worst enemies.
